What You Need to Make BBQ Chicken Sliders

These sliders come together quickly with a few basic ingredients. From savory shredded chicken to a tangy slaw, each component adds to the overall flavor and texture. Here’s what you’ll need:

  • Cooked Chicken: Shredded chicken soaks up the BBQ sauce for a tender, flavorful filling.
  • BBQ Sauce: Choose your favorite BBQ sauce for the perfect balance of sweetness and smokiness.
  • Coleslaw: A blend of green cabbage, purple cabbage, and carrots gives the slaw its signature crunch.
  • Sour Cream & Mayonnaise: These create a creamy, tangy dressing that coats the slaw perfectly.
  • Soft Rolls: Classic slider rolls hold everything together and get a buttery, golden finish in the oven.

Storing & Reheating Leftovers

If you have leftover sliders, they can be stored and reheated while keeping their texture intact. Here’s the best way to handle them:

  • Refrigerate: Store leftover sliders in an airtight container for up to two days.
  • Reheat in the Oven: Place sliders on a baking sheet and warm at 300°F for 10 minutes to keep the buns crisp.
  • Avoid Microwaving: Microwaving can make the buns soggy, so reheating in the oven is best.
