Tips for Perfecting the Cheese Sauce

The homemade cheese sauce is a real treat that adds richness to this dish and complements the flavors of the wraps. Here are a few tips to ensure your cheese sauce turns out smooth, creamy, and flavorful:

  • Keep Stirring: To avoid lumps, continuously whisk the milk into the butter and flour mixture until smooth.
  • Use Quality Cheese: Freshly grated cheddar cheese melts better than pre-shredded, giving a creamier finish.
  • Customize the Flavor: For a little heat, add a pinch of cayenne pepper or a few drops of hot sauce to the cheese mixture.
