For the shells:

sheet refrigerated pie crust

For the filling:

medium Granny Smith apples
peeled, cored, diced

lemon juice

caramel sauce

Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F. Spray mini-muffin tin with non-stick spray.
Cut out 2-inch rounds from pie crust and press into the muffin tin. Prick bottoms with a fork.
Sprinkle with cinnamon sugar, then bake for 8-10 minutes until golden.
For the filling: melt butter, add apples and lemon juice, cook until tender.
Stir in sugar, caramel, flour, cinnamon, and salt. Simmer until thickened.
Fill cooled crusts with apple mixture and serve immediately.
Notes
If you don’t have Granny Smith apples, you can substitute any tart apple variety, but make sure they’re firm enough to hold up during baking.
