Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 Earl Grey tea bag or 1 to 2 teaspoons loose leaf
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Sweetener of your choice such as stevia, honey, or maple syrup
  • Pinch of lavender optional, for a subtle floral flavor

Instructions

  • Bring one cup of water to a gentle simmer in a small pot. Remove it from the heat and steep the Earl Grey tea bag (or loose leaf) for about five minutes. If using lavender, add it at this step for a light floral note.
  • Once the tea has steeped, stir in the almond milk and gently warm the mixture over low heat. Avoid boiling.
  • Add the vanilla extract and your chosen sweetener, adjusting the sweetness to your preference.
  • Strain the mixture through a sieve to remove any lavender pieces or tea leaves, ensuring a smooth drink.
  • Froth extra almond milk or cream using a frother if desired, and spoon it on top of the latte for a luxurious finish.
  • Garnish with a light sprinkle of lavender or cinnamon for added flavor and aroma.
  • Serve immediately and enjoy your homemade Low Carb London Fog Latte.
