Chocolate Peanut Butter Smoothie Bowl

Ingredients
  

  • 1 ½ cups frozen banana slices about 2 medium bananas
  • 3 tablespoons creamy unsalted peanut butter
  • 6 tablespoons chocolate protein powder (can be vegan)
  • ¾ cup almond milk or oat milk
  • 2 tablespoons ground flaxseed

Optional topping

  • Shaved dark chocolate
  • Granola
  • Fresh banana slices
  • Crushed or chopped roasted peanuts
  • Drizzled peanut butter

Instructions
 

  • Place the frozen banana slices into a blender.
  • Add the peanut butter, chocolate protein powder, ground flaxseed, and almond milk.
  • Cover and blend on high speed until the mixture is smooth and thick. You may need to stop and scrape down the sides of the blender to ensure everything is well combined.
  • Pour the smoothie into a bowl and spread evenly.
  • Garnish with your choice of toppings, such as shaved dark chocolate, granola, fresh banana slices, or a drizzle of peanut butter.
  • Serve immediately and enjoy!
