Line an 8x8-inch baking dish with parchment paper, allowing the paper to hang over the edges for easy removal. Preheat the oven to 375°F.
In a medium bowl, combine the coconut oil, egg, and vanilla extract, stirring until smooth.
In a separate bowl, mix together the sweetener, almond flour, coconut flakes, and crushed pecans.
Pour the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients and stir until fully incorporated. Spread the mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish.
Place in the oven and bake for 22-25 minutes, or until the top is golden brown.
Remove the pan from the oven and immediately sprinkle the chocolate chips on top. Return to the oven for 2 minutes to melt the chocolate.
Once melted, spread the chocolate evenly across the top using a spatula. Sprinkle with flake salt while the chocolate is still soft.
Allow the pan to cool slightly before lifting the bars out by the parchment paper. Slice into bars and serve.
