  • In a medium bowl, combine the flour, cane sugar, sifted cocoa, baking powder, cinnamon, and nutmeg, stirring to blend the dry ingredients.
  • Add the egg, oat milk, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients.
  • Whisk or use an electric mixer until the batter is smooth and well combined.
  • Heat a lightly greased pan over medium heat. Pour about ½ cup of batter onto the pan, spreading it slightly.
  • Cook until bubbles form on the surface, then flip and cook the other side until golden.
  • Serve warm with maple syrup, a pat of melted butter, and a sprinkle of cinnamon.
